Time Event
Hello!  I'm new to Linux so my question is probably both stupid and annoying.  I apologize in advance.

Since I installed Ubuntu, I've been having some problems with my keyboard, especially while running Firefox.  I'll be typing away like normal when suddenly my computer will insert the URL for a website I've visited recently (but haven't ctrl c-ed), move my cursor to  somewhere else on the page, delete a huge chunk of text...  It's like there's hot keys I don't know about.  Sometimes, my keyboard will stop responding entirely.  This goes away when I reboot but the annoying typing problems are always there.

This problem didn't exist when I was running Windows but it does exist on my boyfriend's laptop, which is also running Ubuntu.  Therefore, I can be reasonably sure it's not a hardware problem.  Any help at all would be appreciated.  Thank you!
