Time Event
Grub and scsi
Hey, I'm really sorry to crosspost here (in the gentoo community), but if anyones booting off their scsi drive using grub, could you post a copy of your grub.conf? I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out the syntax here. I've been working on it all day and most of last night with no success.

When i'm chrooted or booted into my system and i open the grub prompt it shows my boot partition at (hd1,0) but when i boot up, it shows it at (hd0,0). Obviously this makes for some tricky configuration issues lemme tell ya.

As i just said to a friend of mine, what I think is happening is linux is doing its standard "i'm linux and to hell with the bios" but when it boots up its like "uh, mr bios could you come here so i can boot up linux?"

thanks for any help anyone can provide.

PS - or post a copy of their lilo.conf? This is for a server so I don't really give a damn if its pretty, it just needs to work.
