Which is better to use, Mandrake 9.2, or suck it up, spend the bux and do 10.o Community?

The other day, I stumbled accross our old IBM computer... 133 mhz, 32 mb of ram, 1.6 gb hd.
It has Win95 on it, and it was running DSL fine from the disc, but today, I tried to install Mandrake on it, and it won't work. When I reboot, it automatically goes to Win95 (It can boot to CD ROM, that's how I was running DSL, and it's set to boot to CD ROM first). So I let it boot to Windows, and went to My Computer > D, and hit the Install Mandrakelinux button. Then, a message saying "This will now reboot your computer. Make sure all your important files are backed up. If they're not, hit 'Cancel' and back them up, then try again......" popped up, So I hit "Ok", and nothing happend, no reboot. So I hit "Ok" again, and nothing happened. So you can just sit there repeatedly hitting "Ok", and it won't reboot like it should. Any ideas on how to get this to work?
