Time Event
Time Server Sync
What I want to do is setup my system time zone correctly and sync my system with a time server. I tried googling this but everything I tried led me down a bad road and now my time is off by an hour.

Could someone please help me?

In case anyone missed it...
Local root vulnerability in all 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6 kernels. 2.4.24, released today, resolves the issue. 2.2.26 and 2.6.1-rc2 expected soon to fix this do_mremap exploit.

Slashdot link.
My computer's internal clock seems to be slowing down and I have to set it forward about 20 minutes each day. What information can I provide to help diagnose this problem, or where should I look to even start diagnosing it? Thanks.

The computer was purchased in April and was installed with Gentoo Stage 1 in November. If anyone knows, is this a Linux problem or distro-specific? Thanks again for any help at all.
