Time Event
Reset Linux Video?
I've been working on this server running X and the display locked up. No big deal so I ctrl + alt + backspace and crash X... X stops but the display stays locked up. The box is still responsive as I can switch to text modes. I can still SSH in and all the services are running. But when I restart X it loads X (according to ps aux) but the display is still all garbled.

I'm sure it's running fine I just need to force the card to reset the video or something. In the past I've just rebooted the computer. I'd prefer not to ruin the uptime of the box because of this. Is there a way to hard-reset the video?
