Time Event
Following on the tail of the previous post about mice vs touchpads, I've got my own input-device problem that I just can't figure out. I use a Wacom ArtzII tablet that plugs into my serial port (ttyS0). I've been using it in Redhat 7.3 and in Gentoo 1.3 with no problems; however, I just migrated over to Redhat 8.0 and while I'm diggin' the OS, I can't get my wacom tab to work again. I configured XF86Config as I knew how to, adding the wacom driver and loading the devices as the Wacom Tablet How-To advises. No go. I can use GPM and make the tablet work in console mode, but not in xterm or X. I've checked idiot things like making sure it's plugged in and whatnot.... I'm baffled. Did Redhat 8.0 change things around? I haven't seen anything on google that pertains to my kernel (2.4.18-18.8.0).... anybody?
can anyone tell me about this system?
Lycoris Desktop/LX operating system

thank you
