Time Event
not enough space
Having some issues with Netscape 6.2, so I went to their site to see if they have a new version out. they do. 7.0, so i get the installer. su, run the installer, /usr/local/netscape (it erased 6.2).

installer says there is 0 kilobytes available, 152xxx kilobytes needed.

/usr is on it's own 3 gig partition. how do i find out what the problem is?

Mandrake 8.2, 40 gig HD (/home is 30, /usr is 3, and /boot has some space i believe, 3 seperate partitions from the 8.2 installation).

Some guy complaining about UT 2003 for Linux
Not the demo, the full release. It comes with the full version for windows. Installs up to 3 gigs. Requires Nvidia, etc.

Suse and GNOME
Can any Suse users confirm/deny this...
I have read in two reviews now about Suse's 'mistreatment' of GNOME. Is this a fair statement? How difficult is it to install gnome, and have it working properly? Just something I was curious about.......

Current Mood: curious
