RedHat 8.0 ISOs available
Thanks to spot I've obtained all the RedHat 8.0 (Psyche) ISOs from a mirror site. There are now five (5!!!) cds, of which only the first two are usually required. You should be able to get the files from my ftp site at ftp.perturb.org anonymously. It's hosted on a DS3 line should it should be pretty darn speedy for most people. Or just use the following commands:

wget --continue "ftp://ftp.perturb.org/iso/RedHat8.0/psyche-i386-disc1.iso"
wget --continue "ftp://ftp.perturb.org/iso/RedHat8.0/psyche-i386-disc2.iso"
wget --continue "ftp://ftp.perturb.org/iso/RedHat8.0/psyche-i386-disc3.iso"
wget --continue "ftp://ftp.perturb.org/iso/RedHat8.0/psyche-i386-disc4.iso"
wget --continue "ftp://ftp.perturb.org/iso/RedHat8.0/psyche-i386-disc5.iso"
Creating images on the fly
Good morning!
I'm looking for a program or perl module that I can use to create images on the fly. Mainly basic shapes like circles, squares, minimalistic graphs, and perhaps some printing words onto these images. This will mainly be using either in CGI or inserted directly into MySQL and I would prefer not writing tempfiles to disk.

I used to use GD to do this, but I was wondering if anyone knows any better tools. Is GD still used or is it deprecated?

Thanks in advance.
