A little honest research... (please no flamewars)
I've been asked to write an article by a magazine. Call it a proof of concept: 2,000 words on "what's wrong with GNU/Linux for the desktop user", but
with a positive spin. I've got only one pet peeve of mine own: I've not yet encountered a GNU/Linux distro that includes location management! (that is: through a simple control, I can set the configuration values on my laptop for different locales - home, office, vacation home, Switzerland, and Australia)
So, my question to you? What's your pet peeve as a GNU/Linux desktop user?
Keep it distro neutral, please? Qvacks. Current Mood: searching
