ChemE needs assistance!
Okay, so I have a Pentium II (?) computer in my lab with a Flashbus MV Lite capture card and an analog monochrome CCD camera. I've been working on a research project, the most difficult aspect of which has been creating a computer that can automatically capture still images and determine numerical data from them.
The programs I've been playing with (Imagetool, Image Pro Express demo, and a few others) are far too buggy to rely on, and I don't like the version of Windows 98 on the computer. On top of that, while I was gone over the summer, someone installed a half-dozen spyware- and adware-laden file-sharing programs and god knows what else, and now I can't get any of my image programs to work at all.( Collapse )
If anyone knows of a good application for Windows 9x or any Linux distro that could do this, please let me know. I have little skill in programming, but I can get by if there's well-documented script support in the program itself.
I don't have much to offer, but if anyone's willing to invest some time into helping me, I can easily acknowledge you in my thesis.
Thanks in advance!
