Time Event
Kernel 2.4.19
Ok finally took the step to upgrade my kernel from 2.2.16 to 2.4.19
Upgraded the packages as listed in de Changes file and compiling went smoothly
editted the lilo.conf with my new /bzimage ...
after running lilo successfully i tried to boot that kernel ** while feeling depressed about the lost uptime record:( **

Lilo showed up.. both my kernels listed there.. i start to get excited after all...
picked my brand new 2.4.19 .. waited patiently for the kernel to boot up.. but ..

any hints/tips/experience with this guys/girls?

Thank you in advance..

Current Mood: crappy
win2k/linux dual boot
i have a laptop which currently has win2k running on it. i'd like to make it dual boot between win2k and linux.

is it possible to do this without losing my current win2k installation? and if so, is there anything i need to be especially careful of when installing linux?

thanks in advance for any help.
