Any MacHeads out there?
I haven't been paying attention to Mac hardware all that much lately, especially when it deals with linux, but I have a few questions.

  1. If you install Linux on the Mac (ibook/titanium) can you get support for the Airport Card? I know its 802.11b, but can you use it under linux or do you have to be in OS X?
  2. Can the AirPort Base Station work with Non-Macs... can a PC w/ a 802.11b card connect to it? Can a Mac that is running Linux connect to it?
  3. Does anyone know a good Linux4Mac page? Preferably distro independent.

Thanks,
Mike

Quick question about Apache...

I installed php4, it processes everything fine and dandy.. but it doesn't load index.php if no page is specified. IE, go to www.foo.bar and it'll give you a directory listing, not the index.php that's sitting there, waiting patiently to be loaded. My httpd.conf contains this line:

DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm index.shtml

under the appropriate virtual host. Any idea what's going on? Thanks.
