nfs oddness
I have an NFS server running on a Solaris 8 system, essentially it's my file server. I've found a lot of problems though lately with running Red Hat 7.3 against it... for instance when I am doing a lot of IO my RH NFS will stall entirely. This is particularly annoying when I'm copying MP3's to and fro. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Brian

follow-up to previous post on MP3 ripping
Just a quick note to say thanks for all the advice on CD rippers. I downloaded GRIP and I'm finding to be excellent - just what I wanted, very quick and lots of features.

Sticking with XMMS as a player right now, it looks a lot better now I have decent skins for it.
