resetting rx/tx counts on network interface
i need to know how (if it's possible) to reset the rx and tx numbers on the network interface that show when i type 'ifconfig eth0'. for example, right now, when i type 'ifconfig eth0', there is a line that says:
     RX bytes:3812841185 (3636.2 Mb) TX bytes:1855800172 (1769.8 Mb)

i'd like to be able to reset this on a monthly basis because my server is colo'd and i get charged for bandwidth and it'd be nice to be sure i'm not being ripped off. ;)

Current Mood: curious
